You’re a Sick Pig

AuthorPhilip Hickey CategoryIrish Pork Scandal DateDecember 6th, 2008

Okay everybody, just stop it right now, EATING IRISH PORK that’s been infected with undisclosed toxins (possibly cancer casing agents) since September 2008. Its taken the responsible agencies 3 months to declare their findings it this new National Disgrace yet again It’s another  Irish Pork pie in the Face. So who’s been telling porkies and which farms ,10 is the number, have been mentioned using an illegal poisonous feed in their Pigs diets, that was detected in Pork fat.

I for one love Pork, but I for one have consumed numerous Irish pork Sausages, Irish Rashers, Irish Ham , Crackling and Irish Roast Pork dinners in the last three months. I don’t know about you but i’ve had a number a strange random illnesses recently that could have come from any source including my diet.

You are what you eat and I’m sending back all Irish Pork and then I’m off to give LIDL some more business. Long live LIDL the land of quality German Pork produce.

Why did my brother, whom I haven’t seen nor heard from for at least a year, take it upon himself to call me tonight to warn me about this tonight at 10pm and why is the first mention of the story to be found on an English Website? BBC Story that I could find? I’ll tell you why because he knows what I know and that is our great Country leaders always withhold any story of this magnitude to stop their heads rolling out of the money pit and into the world of the blindfolded Irish person who hears no evil and sees no evil till its too bloody late.

I am sick of being sick at the moment and I am being sickened by the Illegal carry-ons in this great country’s corridors of imagined power, all I can hear is echos of once great men and women who once cared for us as a nation. We need change out of respect to ourselves and by God we need it now

We are the Irish people , not guinea pigs

Nice one Nathan, me too. I don’t think there are any immediate effects of consuming pork in the short term but scarily the mentioned chemicals PCB’s are known to cause cancer. Only time will tell about the long term effect and the levels of these chemicals actually contained in the food and when like me you were feeding your young three year old son these food products over the last three months you’ve got every reason to be scared, confused and angry at the way this was handled.
Nathan, if you have any health worries then I recommend going to see a qualified doctor even if its just to settle your mind over these concerns. Thanks for the comment Nathan

This just in
In a statement earlier, the Commission said Brussels was monitoring the (Irish Pork) contamination incident closely “to ensure public health protection”.

It said possible adverse human health effects from dioxins and PCBs were related to long term high level exposure.“A short term peak exposure to dioxins and PCBs does not result in adverse health effects,” it added.

Hi Jaynie and thanks, I’m happy the products are off the shelf now but not that we were allowed the consume them unabated for three months now. We need answers, who is responsable, what going to be done to safe guard our food and there is absolutey now accountability for anybody to be charged should you be come ill with cancer from this because there are no bread crumbs to follow and sure where’s your proof is all they’ll ask you?

OK so the ban was lifted. It would appear the imposition was a rash(er) mover anyway. Watching Rodge and Podge last night and they demonstrated that if Coke (as in cokacola) is poured over pork and left for circa two hours, worms appear! For real!
I love pork but will be careful washing down under cooked pork with Coke in future!

Hi John,
At long last the secret tasty ingredient revealed, intoxicated raving chandler worms.
No seriously it’s a waste not to properly cook pork and not to drink coke
