On the road to where next for Internet Giant Google is right beneath your feet and in the air all around you, if this sounds strange to you then read on, its because Google invent their own paths to walk or in most cases fly upon.
Not content in classifying over 200 billion web pages by popularity and giving away gems like Google Earth, Google News, Picassa, Google Maps, You Tube, Google Docs and Gmail and more all for free , they’ve decided to search for new things that already exist in the physical world to help us all, like a cheap abundant and none polluting energy supply that literally could save the Worlds energy crisis and pollution problems and how about a faster Internet by “freeing the airwaves” without anymore digging up roads or upgrading your hardware. To think that you could have bought Google for $1 million ten years ago the $10 million being spent is one thousandth of their profits from advertising revenues, have you ever seen a flashing banner selling stuff on their website? No you never will. With profits of 10 Billion these guys can really save the world, the company is now worth a staggering 200 Billion dollars. A dollar for every web page on the internet or $33.5 for every person on the planet, thats a years wage for some.
Why, why do all this you ask? Well two young geeks form Stanford University , American Larry Page and Sergey Brin Russian/American once had an Idea, to be 10 to the power of one hundred on the Internet (a googleplex) but their credo is this, three simple words “Don’t Be Evil” and now they seem to be a power of good for an ailing planet
Also on Google the Free The Airways campaign is being processed in the courts in an attempt to open up the unused “White Spaces” in the current broadcasting methods that exist already and are simply being unused to speed up your Internet, full story also on Silicone Republic
