Sing To The World

I just want to say thanks so much for actually being interested everybody, no one has ever been interested in my singing to be honest but when i woke up this morning and read the X Factor acceptance e-mail i was over the moon.

I sent my application over last month for the x factor and i got an e-mail back saying my application was accepted, so i think the auditions start in June 2010, so me, my sister and my Da will be flying over to london for that which i can’t wait, my sister April will also be auditioning i feel kinda nervous for her cause she is only 16, but I say she’ll be grand lol.  I’ve also decided to audition for the (all Ireland talent show) which the auditions start in August 2010, because the second series is still being aired.  I’ve had no experience in singing the way most singers have, I have trained myself into sounding better and then as a hobby i wrote and produced my own songs on my little laptop from a cheap software I’ve downloded from the internet, I don’t have much money so buying it was out of the question lol.

Before i knew it that writing songs out of boredom at night I had a whole album and that was it really. I put the songs on cd’s that i bought from tescos and from so much lack of support and refusals from record companys I threw the album and my covers songs into a drawer in the kitchen and haven’t listened to them at all.  So now i just do cover songs on youtube every week out of boredom.  I suppose from all the doors being closed in my face I stopped being interested.  The past 3 months have been an eye opener cause im not that young anymore and i want to do as much with my life as possible and now I’ve gained back the interest and I’m hoping just to keep on going, so I’ve been saving for ages, to buy equipment and maybe start doing a few gigs around Ballyfermot. I have to get the stuff from Germany because its cheaper and the shipping’s free lol. So hopefully it won’t be long before I have enough money.
