Yes Indeed Father Ted Was a Die Hard REDS FAN!!
| Dermot Morgan of course plays Father but he is the king of comedy and indeed a huge united fan i want to dedicate this part of the site to a true legend and Comical Genius.If you do not like father ted you have to be truel and deeply sick this a show that every irish person alive should love. Its unbelievable witty comedy and amazing punch lines make it an irish comedy to be proud of!!A Show that took the mick out of religion and made prests of all people seem hilarious it has made me weap with laughter at times and here are some screen shots and explaine scenarii’s ted and the lads got themselves into.
Ted Makes a chinese face and does a chinese impression as a family of Chinese walk by his window and catch him making this gesture. The whole village call him a rascist as he tries to defend his honour an old friend drops by who is an ex natzie while he is just about to make friends with the Chinese.
Jack Awakes to realise he has been asleep for over ten year. He has been drunk and in an awful state for these years and never got the chance to get sobour and doesnt realise he is still a priest!! Jack “Who are you?? Where am i!!” as he looks around he starts to get his memory back”Chair” “curtains” as ted looks at him ands says well done he says to ted and points “gobshite”. They try to explain that he was a priest and then it hits him as he becomes sobour and he screams “dont tell me im still on this feckin Island”.
Dermot Morgan passed away A Comical Genius and a true irishman He will be truely Missed but Never Forgot! If Only More Priests were like Father Ted |

I totally agree. If priests were more humourous and down to earth as Ted the church would be fuller. However there are plenty of “Jacks” around.
This site is feckin good. Loved the links to look at the bits you were talking about. Now I’m off to get some DRINK!!!!!!

I must be truely and deeply sick as I dont like this guy, I love this guy!! Did you know that their programme airing in the US was halted because the didn’t think the audience would understand the word “Feck” and subsequently cancelled the world domination tour, Dammit!
The true comic genius of Dermot was to use the Catholic Church as the vessal for so much dry humour and as therapy for the nation, brilliance in action!
And to follow Tommy Cooper whom died on stage, Dermot died during an after dinner speech the true comic genius way.
What a loss, i’m sure he would have ripped the piss out of politicians sooner or later.
