Ah yes , Freddy. I always loved him as an artist. Totally unique with a distinctive powerful voice and absolutely perfect for Queen in their hayday, being himself of course always. How he became so sensitive in his final days and changed his musical style, but still remained himself even throughout his illness always himself, will show how professional he was. Brilliant to the last. Queen were one of my first big bands. Freddie was an enigma, sadly missed.

sound today but it just doesnt compare!!!
Well i suppose George Michael standing in for him for that gig was brave on his part, but it still showed a massive gulf even in his (Freddie’s) on stage presents, let alone vocal abilities needed to fill his boots.

Queen are simply sublime!
I have a few Queen songs in my list of guitar tablatures stored in my noggin.
Who wants to live forever is a fantastic song to play on Acoustic guitar with a hint of tremlo to give the effect of sadness and mellincolly and as i am not much of a singer i usually play along to the great voice of a true legend Farrokh Bulsara.
