inspirational song lyrics

Ever depend on a song to cheer you up when your feeling down?
Or maybe to remind you of a loved one?
Or simply inspire you to be yourself at your best?

I believe songs play a very important part in everybody’s lives regardless of
their interest in music.
Some people are music fanatics and base their fashion sense on their music interest whether it be punk, heavy metal, jazz, indie etc.

Throughout the week I will be updating this post to share with you some really inspirational lyrics for you to read and enjoy :-)

“Music gives a soul to the universe,
wings to the mind,
flight to the imagination,
and life to everything.” as quoted by Plato

To begin with i’ll show you Freddy Mercury’s ideas of life as he was coming to terms  with his illness

This song was wrote shortly before he died.

Who wants to live forever
Who wants to live forever….?

Theres no chance for us
Its all decided for us
This world has only one sweet moment set aside for us

Who wants to live forever
Who wants to live forever?

  1. Ah yes , Freddy. I always loved him as an artist. Totally unique with a distinctive powerful voice and absolutely perfect for Queen in their hayday, being himself of course always. How he became so sensitive in his final days and changed his musical style, but still remained himself even throughout his illness always himself, will show how professional he was. Brilliant to the last. Queen were one of my first big bands. Freddie was an enigma, sadly missed.

    thanks for the comment..
ah yea freddy was so unique
many people try to recreate his
sound today but it just doesnt compare!!!

  3. Well i suppose George Michael standing in for him for that gig was brave on his part, but it still showed a massive gulf even in his (Freddie’s) on stage presents, let alone vocal abilities needed to fill his boots.
    Have a look here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8c7×2JD_j-0

    Queen are simply sublime!
I have a few Queen songs in my list of guitar tablatures stored in my noggin.
Who wants to live forever is a fantastic song to play on Acoustic guitar with a hint of tremlo to give the effect of sadness and mellincolly and as i am not much of a singer i usually play along to the great voice of a true legend Farrokh Bulsara.

Phiilip your Spelling Grammar on your name is wrong on your first post love. haha wikipedia will help with that haha

    Much Love Jaynie
