The officer hasn't got a qualification to say that it isn't a critical illness.. They have the funding but basically what she said was you have to have Aids, Hepititis B or cancer.. This person went to see the relieving officer to get some financial help for the person with Autism? I'm just guessing, but if the person who told you this is somebody you trust and the recanting is accurate then the officer is wrong to push the issue aside like that; agreed.
