I also think if Champix is what stops me smoking forever, then even if these side effects last the full 12wk i'm on the tablets its still worth it. Iwent through the whole of christmas without smoking!.AND IT WAS EASY!!! I went to see Sean on the 4th December (one month today).I made the appointment as soon as I got your reply. (The lady on the phone was really helpful). I have to say it was a lot different than I thought it would be just like you I felt as if Iwas awake the whole time. Althought he did say that I wouldn't be asleep. I found him very professional no weird stuff. He only charged me 200 euro he was quite for december He told me it is usually a quite month. Anyway A BIG thank you to you D for your help and support. You are really helping people to make the desision. Keep up the good work. Have a happy and healthy new year Well Dolores

Just a few examples or I will be here all day! a woman was admitted to hospital with gastro-intestinal bleeding which is a common side effect of these types of drugs. On further investigation the woman was quite psychotic which, according to family was not normal and had not seen her that way before. She was also quite suicidal. Another patient presented with GI upset with 4 days of use. Some places have linked these drugs to suicide. I would avoid these types of medications and try some alternative natural methods as you are trying to improve your health not make it worse. Another thing to realise is that the cough many smokers experience for some time after smoking cessation is actually your body trying to clean out the rubbish that has been clogging ur lungs. this can take some time to clear..but the benefits outweigh the annoyance.
