I want to start animating but the only problem is that I’ve got writers block and can’t think of any new idea’s for an animation. any suggestions would be appreciated.

How’s this for a scenario:
Strange looking worshippers start fileing into Ballyfermot church in their thousands, all draped in hooded garb. The doors are then locked down and weird sounds and lights are heard and seen from external view. The church begins to tremble as if shook by an earthquake,…..then slowly, unsteadily the church raises from the ground on jets of burning fuel and ascends towards the heavens! …….let me know if you want to hear the next installment?
Meanwhile,..(back on planet Bali Fermot) is there a local animation society or club?

Yeah I’m interested, what’s the rest of your idea, how does it end?
In Ballyfermot, I just know that the B.C.F.E do a 3rd level diploma course in classical, 3D Animation & Game development. But as far as animation societies & clubs go, I don’t think there are any but it would be sweet if there was at least one.
Do you do animation yourself or do any drawing?

yeah, I know my way around a pencil, and I used to animate in flash for a living back in 2001 but that all ended under the rubble of the twin towers!

Oh, how unfortunate. I’ve also noticed there ain’t to much work out there for animating in Ireland. Would you not consider animating again as a hobby in your spare time just for fun like? Then post your work on youtube or your own blog site even. It’s just a suggestion.

Darren your a class act , love the Chewy bit classic and the intro (Ballymun) brilliant.
Ideas? use the force to change Ballyfermot into your Utopia or Vader vrs the Alabama Leprechaun or how the Death Star was left on house bricks on the main street Ballyer, that’d be fun
